After removing the trunk spoiler on my 2014 B8.5 Audi A4 I was left with a few strips of glue adhesive stuck onto the paint.
No matter what amount of goo gone or the adhesive removal spray I used, the residue would not come off.
You can also try to use a heat gun and carefully melt the glue to wipe it away, but that comes with unique risks in that you could melt your paint if not done correctly and could actually take longer to do.
I have found the easiest, fastest, and safest way for anyone to remove the automotive adhesive without damaging your car’s paint.
Using the rubber eraser wheel removed the stuck-on adhesive glue within seconds!
Highley recommended.
